FAQs Help! Q: I'm considering a number of local composers for my film. What can you do for me? A: A lot. We'll evaluate the potential composers vis a vis film scoring experience, musical quality, production expertise, stylistic appropriateness and overall ability to provide an effective product for your film. After all, we've carefully evaluated hundreds of composers from all over the world as candidates for IFC affiliation. Frankly, many are called, but few are chosen. We consider any weak score an avoidable tragedy. Get the right composer for the right job, and you're halfway home. Q: What'll that cost me? A: It's free. We're on your side--we're indies like you. We want you to succeed and not get ripped off by agents, incompetents, record companies, or any other element that is, as Randy Newman would say, is BFM (Bad For Music.) Q: I need help with musically-oriented contracts, nondisclosure agreements and the like. I can't afford legal help at this point. What can you do for us?
